Framework
Framework launched in 2020, during the height of the pandemic. In its first iteration, the platform allowed online merchants and creators to build, sell, and distribute digital products — including courses, newsletters, and community memberships — all in one place. It supported over 250,000 users and high profile customers, including Daily Stoic, Columbia University, and This Naked Mind.
As the pandemic came to a close, the market changed. Online merchants and creators still needed help growing their businesses, however, the original platform no longer served that need most effectively.
I led our team through a period of rapid iteration until we found a product that would. We launched a new product every month, until (on our 7th launch) arrived at one that worked: a suite of AI powered marketing tools for all e-commerce merchants, which we called Zolt.
Features included:
- An AI photo studio, that allowed merchants to turn everyday product photos into studio quality images
- An AI powered website audit and recommendation tool
Within 4 months, the product was being used by over 5,000 ecommerce merchants and brands.
